News Angle: A 42-year-old Del Mar woman is the first woman on the West Coast to become pregnant (and with twins) due to an experimental procedure called Cytoplasmic Transfer. An exclusive story opportunity was pitched to KFMB/8 News. From this one media source, coverage included:
- A 2.5 minute story on March 23, 1998 on the evening news in San Diego
